Go Forward It’s The Right Thing to Do
Exodus 14:13-15

By: Rev. Dr. Cullian W. Hill

When God speaks, we must go forward! When you are facing your difficulties, your seas of difficulties and you feel like you can’t move forward, you feel like you are at wits end, remember God is standing by. No progress is possible unless God speaks. He does speak! How can I go forward? Go forward in prayer (Matthew 7:7). Go forward under the Holy Spirit’s leadership (Zechariah 4:6).
When we remember that the battle is the Lord’s, He fights for us. God knows how to fight and win the battle. He can send hail from heaven (Joshua 10:11). The earth can open up and swallow up people (Numbers 16:31-35). The angel of death can destroy all night (II Kings 19:35). He knows how to fight and win. The battle is the Lord’s. Go forward: God is your source of power. He has an angel waiting to deliver you. The angel of God went before them and a pillar of cloud protected Israel all night. Light on Israel’s side and darkness on the enemy’s side (Exodus 14:19-20). Go forward in prayer. Moses prayed about their problem that the children of Israel had at the Red Sea. His prayer was answered quickly. He was to lift up the rod and stretch out his hand over the Red Sea, and Israel was to go forward on dry ground, through the middle of the sea. God is the source of your power.
Thank God for Jesus. You can win any battle with Him. He won the victory over the grave. He took the sting out of death. You can win with Jesus! He died for you and me. When He got up Sunday morning He declared early Sunday morning that He had all power both in heaven and earth. Have you stood still long enough to read your Bible? The word will guide you into a way of doing things better. It is a lamp unto
my feet. It’s light my pathway. Thy Word have I hid in my heart (Psalm 119:11)   II Timothy 3:16-17: When I’m going down the wrong road, it will correct me, it will instruct me. On the other side of your problem you can go forward singing after He has delivered you from your red sea. Singing “The Lord will make a way somehow, when beneath the cross I bow; He will take away each sorrow, let Him have your burden now. There’s a sweet relief.” Move on! Take up your bed and walk! Go forward, it’s the right
thing to do. The Lord said to Moses, speak unto the children of Israel that they go forward.
As we go forward children, just remember that the Lord is our Shepherd and we shall not want. He will lead us in the path of righteousness for His name’s sake. Walking through COVID-19 is like walking through the valley of the shadow of death (Psalm 23:4). Obey!
