What A Difference A Day Makes

By: Rev. Shawn Thomas

Proverbs 27:1

This is God's world. He is in charge of this world's affairs. We do not have the ability to know what tomorrow holds. Proverbs deals with the walk of man on this ear and man's relationship with God and with one another.

The beginning of wisdom is he fear of the Lord. We need to know who God is and who we are. Learn how to be content with whatever state you find yourself in. Appreciate what you have and God will bless you with more.

You are only fooling yourself if you think you can remain in time. Eternity is on the way. There is not but one step between death and me. (I Samuel) It is better to live in peace and be able to sleep at night than to live in conflict. Reading the book of Proverbs will tell you how to live while here on earth and how to be wise. You will never get to where you're trying to go if you do not listen.

Grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Accept constructive criticism, correction, in love. Isaiah 26:3 says God will keep you in perfect peace if you keep your mind stayed on Him. (Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength:)

Don't talk about what you're going to do tomorrow, tomorrow is not promised. Choose ye this day whom ye will serve. Joshua 24:15
