THE INCOMPARABLE LOVE OF GOD
Romans
5:8
There is a hymn that say,
"When nothing else could
help, love lifted me." Verse
of our text tells us; For
scarcely for a righteous man
will one die: yet
peradventure for a good man
some would even dare to die.
We will look at tree points
for this text.
-
How God lifted us -
If we had to be
lifted, there was
something wrong in
life. Paul
tells us we have
peace with God, by
whom we have also
access to grace.
Because of the blood
of Jesus, our state
is perfect in God.
"I found in Him a
resting place and He
has made me glad, "
There is a melting
process, then
mellowing, next
molding and last
maturing. We glory
in tribulations
also.
Tribulations worketh
patience.
Patience worketh
hope and hope,
experience,
II
Corinthians 4:
8-10 we are troubled
on every side.
-
How God loves us -
The gift of Christ
is God's love.
God's love is
Incomparable, Christ
died not for
righteous fold but
for the ungodly.
When we look at
Jesus hanging on a
cross, he could have
shown wrath,
instead, He cried,
Father forgive them,
for they know not
what they do.
God's love is
unconditional, not
if you do this, then
I will do that, Oh
what love!
-
How God has loosed
us - Sin has reigned
supreme, put folk in
the hospital, filled
the jails, produced
misery and hatred,
Thank God that He
looked beyond our
faults and saw our
needs,
Because of the love
of God I have been
loosed! When
trials and
tribulations come, I
can depend on God.
